The 5-5-5 method is a fool proof way to make perfect hard boiled eggs! It includes pressure cooking on high for 5 minutes, allowing a natural release for 5 minutes and followed by a 5 minute ice bath. If you like a softer yolk you can also use the 4-4-4 method! It works the same way was the previous method just shortening it a minute.
This recipe requires a small amount of water at the bottom to create steam. Because of the size difference each size Instant Pot is going to require different minimum amounts.
