Castor Oil is one of the most wonderful healing aliments on this planet. If you’ve been running into issues with conceiving or have things like cysts, polyps, fibroids etc. this post is for you! It’s magnificent for healing the female body in so many ways. With the rise of infertility and female health concerns this post can really benefit almost any woman you know.
Castor Oil comes from the seeds of the castor bean and has an incredible wide range of uses. Something that makes it so unique is its ability to penetrate deep into the skin and heal things like the liver, thyroid and concerns within the uterus.
When it comes to Castor Oil quality is important especially when you consider how far it seeps into the body. When looking for a Castor Oil you’ll want to look for an organic, cold-pressed, hexane free and preferably in a glass bottle. Here’s a link to the one I use from amazon.
All you’ll need some organic cotton flannel and organic castor oil like this one I previously linked above. Something else you’ll need is a heating pad, this one is super nice because it’s weighted which you’ll want to help keep the flannel pressed against your skin.
While doing your castor oil pack take this time to just simply relaxed. I’m sure most of us, especially those of us trying to conceive or dealing with health aliments are struggling
with loads of anxiety. All these negative sad and anxious emotions will only further hurt our chances of conceiving. Its really important to try an learn how to relax. Trust me, I understand the inability to relax. This is something I’m still majorly struggling with but making an effort to get better with.
I highly recommend listening to this amazing 15-minute guided fertility meditation and visualisation. This is a wonderful guided mediation to listen to while doing your castor oil pack.
It’s recommended not to use during your luteal phase. This is the time after ovulation and between your period. This is because castor oil is not recommended at all during pregnancy so if you end up conceiving and aren’t aware of it yet this could be harmful to your baby.
I personally do this pack once a day for 1 hour minimum everyday from the first day of my period all the way up to ovulation. It can be a great thing to use doing your period because it can help with menstrual cramps as well as help with circulation and blood flow. If you have light periods or heavily clotted periods give this a shot!
These things are indications of a poor menstrual cycle bleed. How well the lining of the uterus sheds and build is super important for the healthy implantation of your sweet baby.
